Anaplan Solutions Architect

An established investment firm is looking for an Anaplan Solution Architect to join their Chicago office. This is an internal role focused on supporting and developing the firm’s planning and reporting capability, with a strong emphasis on FP&A processes. You’ll work closely with the CFO and play a key role in how financial data is structured, managed, and delivered through the Anaplan platform.
Key responsibilities
- Own and develop the firm’s Anaplan solution to support FP&A and management reporting
- Work directly with the CFO and finance leadership to translate planning and reporting needs into system improvements
- Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes within Anaplan
- Design and maintain reporting across multiple legal entities and business lines
- Ensure data accuracy, model performance and strong governance across the platform
- Support finance with entity-level reporting, FP&A activities and tax-related inputs
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation and reporting efficiency
- Work closely with the Chicago finance team
About you
- Strong experience designing, building and supporting Anaplan solutions
- Background in finance use cases, particularly FP&A and management reporting
- Good understanding of multi-entity structures and financial reporting environments
- Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders, including the CFO
- Hands-on, detail-focused and confident owning an internal Anaplan environment
- Experience in investment management, financial services or a complex corporate setting is beneficial
