Role Description
The Program Director is a full-time, on-site role located in Cincinnati, OH. The individual will oversee and manage programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and maintaining excellence in service delivery. Key responsibilities include supervising and training staff, maintaining program budgets, coordinating services, and fostering relationships with individuals, families, and community partners. The Program Director will focus on creating an inclusive and supportive environment that aligns with the organization’s mission and values.
Qualifications
- Leadership and management skills, including experience supervising teams and coordinating programs
- Knowledge of developmental disabilities, individualized service planning, and community-based support models
- Strong organizational skills, financial management, and proficiency in planning and budget oversight
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in compliance regulations and relevant policies in developmental disabilities services
- Academic qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Rehabilitation, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Prior experience in nonprofit organizations or human services is a plus
- Ability to work on-site in Cincinnati, OH and meet transportation requirements as needed
