Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Executive Director to lead and direct our non-medical, home care agency into the next phase of growth. This individual must be a highly dedicated and focused professional with a passion for providing best-in-class, personalized care to seniors and adults with disabilities throughout the Silicon Valley and Tri-Valley areas. This individual must have a very strong OPERATIONAL BACKGROUND and STAFFING BACKGROUND with an understanding of the home care industry.
POSITION DETAILS
- Annual Base Pay: $140k - $175k
- Bonus Potential: $20k
- Office Location: Campbell, CA // This is an in-person position - NOT a remote position

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for managing and handling the day-to-day operations of the business, including all scheduling, recruiting / hiring, training, performance management, and supervision; this position has the following direct and indirect reports, including but not limited to:
- 150+ Caregivers
- Director of Operations
- Schedulers
POSITION SPECIFICS
- Responsible for the Day-to-Day Operations of the 24x7 business. Note this is a business that cares for seniors every day and evening, including weekends. This position is ultimately responsible for ensuring appropriate care at all hours / days.
- Responsible for recruiting and staffing / scheduling functions, including confirming assignments with caregivers.
- Responsible for ensuring that assignments and shifts are filled, including finding appropriate replacements as needed. Responsible for maintaining effective on-call schedule to best avoid interruption in service.
- Responsible for employee relations, including recruiting, training, and mentoring of team members; providing corrective action as needed.
- Responsible for communicating with clients about scheduling and / or changes; maintaining professional relationships with clients and team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Responsible for ensuring a safe work environment for team members according to prescribed safety standards; minimizing the potential for workers compensation claims.
- Responsible for acting as a mandatory reporter, including reporting any known or suspected elder abuse.
- Responsible for maintaining computer and paper files as well as all documentation standards, including HIPAA and Guardian compliance.
- Responsible for complying with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and law.
- Responsible for maintaining our high standards, as well as all mission and values.
PREFERRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
- Working knowledge of WellSky Personal Care; scheduling experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and G-Suite.
- Effective and professional written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with clients and team members.
- Ability and willingness to work weekends as needed to ensure best-in-class client care.
- Excellent work ethic and flexible schedule; desire for professional growth; accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects at once.
