The Big Picture

The Director of Enterprise Applications is a leader within the technology organization, responsible for executing the company’s engineering strategy, leading high‑performing teams, and ensuring delivery of scalable, secure, and high‑quality software solutions. This role partners closely with product, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to align engineering execution with organizational priorities. The Senior Director plays a critical role in developing engineering leaders, improving operational practices, and advancing the technical maturity of the organization.

Location: This position will work onsite out of our Corporate Office in Sandy Springs, GA Monday – Thursday, with work from home flexibility on Fridays.

What That Looks Like Day To Day

Engineering Leadership & Strategy Execution

  • Contribute to and execute the company’s software engineering strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
  • Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, architecture standards, and emerging technologies where appropriate.
  • Ensure alignment of engineering efforts with product priorities and company goals.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and grow engineering leaders and their teams, fostering an environment of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and retain diverse, high‑performing teams that deliver reliably at scale.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and career development pathways for future technical leaders.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish and continuously improve engineering processes, metrics, and KPIs to ensure software quality, scalability, performance, and security.
  • Oversee delivery of multiple initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage technical debt, ensuring a balance between long‑term maintainability and short‑term business needs.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with peers across Product, IT, Security, Data, and Operations to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Act as a key driver and owner of critical technology initiatives.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes effectively to executive stakeholders and peers.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (master’s degree a plus).
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles managing managers and large teams.
  • Demonstrated success leading engineering organizations through growth and transformation.
  • Strong background in modern software development, cloud infrastructure, and secure engineering practices.
  • Proven experience leading and integrating offshore and nearshore engineering teams, ensuring effective collaboration, delivery alignment, and cultural cohesion across distributed locations.
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD).
  • Technical proficiency in the Microsoft/Azure ecosystem, including:
    • React – Platform UI
    • Node/NestJS – Platform API
    • .NET – Legacy systems
    • SQL Server – Database
