Director of Mining Applications & Technical Sales

Our client, an established chemical producer, is launching a new Mining Polymers Division focused on emulsion polyacrylamide flocculants for tailings and mineral processing. We’re searching for a Director of Mining Applications & Technical Sales to lead commercial entry into the mining sector.

This is a ground‑floor opportunity for a technical sales leader who can build a market, convert key accounts, and run on‑site thickener trials.

What You’ll Lead

• Entry into mining tailings & mineral processing markets
• Development and conversion of key mining accounts
• Thickener field trials and technical evaluations
• Translation of site requirements into polymer specifications
• Collaboration with internal teams as the division scales

What You Bring

• 8+ years of chemical sales into the mining industry
• Background calling on Copper, Coal, Oil Sands, or Lithium operations (strong plus)
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Degree in Chemistry or related field strongly preferred
• Based in the Western U.S. or Texas

Compensation

• Commissions + division bonus + potential equity
• Full benefits package
