
Digital Designer

Reporting to: Director of Creative Services
The Role:
Lumens is seeking a talented and versatile Digital Designer to join our Creative Team. In this role, you’ll bring our brand to life across digital and print channels, creating impactful still and motion assets that elevate our storytelling and connect with our audience. From social media and website content to advertising campaigns and event collateral, you’ll collaborate across teams to concept, design, and produce high-quality visuals. Our ideal candidate is both creative and highly organized, with strong technical skills and a deep understanding of both still and motion design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design engaging still and motion assets for social media, email, site, print, and event marketing.
- Create videos for social media channels including motion graphics and traditional video editing.
- Support campaign development with fresh, brand-aligned creative concepts and designs.
- Ensure all designs are consistent with brand guidelines and meet the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross functional business partners to ensure our creative aligns with our goals.
- Contribute to the evolution of design systems, templates, and creative processes.
- Ability to clearly articulate communication across assets.
- Ability and willingness to receive constructive feedback and implement requested changes as needed.
- Strong communication skills, speaking to both overall creative vision and more tactical details.
Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in the following programs — Adobe Creative Suite — Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere and After Effects, Figma
- Demonstrated experience in motion graphics and/or video editing. Color correcting and sound mixing a plus
- Strong portfolio showcasing both digital and print design for various channels.
- Understanding of designing for various formats: web, social, mobile.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines without compromising creativity or quality.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and visual storytelling.
- A collaborative mindset with openness to feedback and direction.

Location: Must be based in California for this hybrid role.
Willing to travel to the corporate office located in San Francisco and Sacramento a few times a month.
Must be online for West Coast business hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm (PST)
Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 annual salary
