Head of Partnerships

Fragile, San Francisco, CA, United States

About Fragile

Fragile is redefining how hardware is built, financed, and distributed. Whether it’s risk modeling, capital markets, consumer experiences, or mass‑scale refurbishment, we’re building the infrastructure that the hardware industry runs on. We’re a small team based in SF and NYC that relentlessly values talent density. We work across disciplines, reason deeply, move with urgency, and build for the real world. With investors including Khosla Ventures, Lightspeed, and Alt Capital, we’re building long‑term infrastructure alongside partners who back companies that reshape industries.

As we expand our go‑to‑market strategy, we’re hiring a Head of Partnerships to drive deals from origination to closure. This role will partner closely with our Chief Business Officer (CBO) to lead business development efforts end‑to‑end. A key part of the role is the ability to create and develop new opportunities by identifying high‑potential partners, opening senior‑level conversations, and building a durable pipeline of strategic partnerships across the hardware ecosystem.

About the Role

You’ll own the end‑to‑end sales cycle, partnering closely with our GTM team to take opportunities from initial outreach through close. This includes sourcing and qualifying prospects, positioning Fragile’s offering against the customer’s goals, and coordinating internally to shape program structure, pricing, and deal terms.

You’ll build and manage relationships with senior leaders at prospective merchant partners. This role requires regular interaction with C‑suite executives and business unit heads across companies of varying sizes and sectors. Because our portfolio spans multiple categories and operating models, you’ll need to quickly understand stakeholder priorities, anticipate concerns, and communicate clearly at an executive level.

We’re looking for someone with a demonstrated track record in B2B partnerships or enterprise sales, ideally with experience in consumer hardware or adjacent industries such as fintech, marketplaces, or logistics. You’ll have high ownership of each deal and be responsible for developing and executing a clear strategy to close.

Logistics

This role is full‑time and in‑person at our San Francisco or New York City offices.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $150,000–$200,000 in base cash compensation. This role also includes equity and performance‑based variable compensation.
  • Free daily lunch, dinner, drinks, and snacks.
  • Free Waymo rides to and from the office.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Relocation support to San Francisco/New York.

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

The Pay Range for This Role Is

150,000 - 200,000 USD per year (Fragile HQ)
