We’re partnered with a high-growth, Series A venture-backed startup redefining how modern e-commerce brands sell.

This is a true zero-to-one marketing leadership opportunity .

As the first in-house marketing hire, you will build and own the growth function from the ground up. You’ll partner closely with Sales to create predictable, high-quality pipeline and help scale a mid-market and enterprise GTM motion.

We are specifically seeking someone with a strong e-commerce background who understands the digital commerce ecosystem and how brands buy technology. Experience operating inside startup, early-stage, or Series-backed companies is essential — this role requires comfort with ambiguity, autonomy, and building systems from scratch.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a scalable demand generation strategy beyond outbound
  • Build targeted account-based marketing (ABM) programs focused on e-commerce brands and retailers
  • Partner closely with Sales to drive pipeline growth and improve funnel performance
  • Design campaigns that support longer sales cycles and multi-stakeholder buying journeys
  • Lead external content resources to produce compelling, conversion-driven messaging
  • Launch strategic campaigns that improve engagement and win rates
  • Own LinkedIn and thought leadership strategy within the e-commerce space
  • Implement attribution models aligned to a sales-led GTM motion
  • Continuously refine positioning based on market and competitive insights

What You’ll Bring

  • 5–8+ years in Growth Marketing within SaaS, Fintech, or B2B tech
  • Direct exposure to or deep understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem (DTC brands, commerce enablement platforms, retail tech, etc.)
  • Experience working at startup / early-stage / Series A–C backed companies
  • Proven track record of building pipeline in partnership with Sales
  • Strong background in account-based marketing
  • Analytical mindset with ownership of performance metrics and attribution
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently and thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Motivation to build and shape a function during a pivotal scale phase
