Overview
Location: San Diego / Southern California
Core Objective: To be the key person responsible for taking first US store from inception to being recognized and accepted by the mainstream US market.
Mandarin: Proficient for work communication
Work Experience: 3+ years of experience in brand/marketing/public relations (with experience in the US local market or 0-to-1 market development)
Core Competencies
- Content Creation: Ability to distill key brand points and translate them into compelling content and stories that resonate with US consumers.
- Platform and Channel Resources: Familiarity with the recommendation logic, content boundaries, and basic advertising rules of platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Yelp, and Google; experience with channel resources or third-party collaborations (media, KOLs, platforms, agencies, etc.)
- Successful Cases: Led or executed complete marketing plans (planning → execution → review); possesses the ability to evaluate and prioritize resources, and can decline inefficient or unsuitable collaborations; responsible for brand communication results and able to quickly adjust strategies based on performance.
- Practicality and Execution: Able to independently manage opening communications, media/KOL collaborations, customer experience optimization, and store presentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute client's US brand communication strategy
- Responsible for the opening of the first store and subsequent brand building
- Liaise with US media, KOLs, and local platforms
- Manage English content and align with the China headquarters on brand strategy. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese to communicate with the HQ.
