MikeWorldWide (MWW) is looking for a Senior Vice President (SVP), Paid Media to join our growing Digital Practice and serve as the agency’s senior paid media authority across corporate reputation, brand marketing, and B2B communications clients.

The SVP will guide paid strategy across platforms, mentor a growing team, and partner closely with corporate communications, analytics, creative, and earned media leaders to deliver fully integrated programs. This is a highly strategic role for someone who thrives at the intersection of communications, marketing, media innovation, and measurable business impact.

The ideal candidate brings a deep performance mindset, strong client presence, and a passion for building modern paid media solutions within an earned-first communications agency environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of integrated paid media strategies supporting full-funnel client objectives, including brand storytelling, reputation building, executive visibility, demand generation, and performance outcomes
  • Translate consumer insights and market intelligence into actionable channel and investment strategies.
  • Serve as the senior strategic paid advisor across key accounts, ensuring programs are insight-driven, innovative, and aligned with broader communications goals
  • Build testing and learning frameworks that identify white space opportunities, guide investment decisions, and drive continual optimization
  • Partner with strategy, creative, and client leadership teams to ensure media plans are insight-led and outcome-driven.
  • Lead testing roadmaps across new channels, audience strategies, and creative formats.
  • Stay ahead of the evolving paid landscape, including platform innovation, AI-driven media tools, automation, and emerging opportunities across digital channels

Client Counsel & Account Oversight

  • Provide high-level client relationship leadership, serving as a trusted advisor in high-stakes conversations, performance reviews, and strategic planning moments
  • Oversee paid media deliverables across large, integrated account teams—ensuring quality, consistency, and measurable impact
  • Partner with account leads and practice leadership to anticipate risks, identify opportunities, and deliver best‑in‑class paid programming
  • Translate complex performance metrics into clear narratives and actionable recommendations for client audiences
  • Directly manage and inspire a collaborative paid media team, fostering professional development, accountability, and innovation
  • Build scalable workflows, operating standards, and learning systems that elevate paid excellence across accounts
  • Support talent growth through coaching, feedback, and mentorship while strengthening MWW’s paid bench long‑term
  • Work seamlessly across practices—earned media, influencer, creative, strategy, and analytics—to ensure integrated execution

Operational & Business Growth Ownership

  • Own scoping, pricing, and financial oversight of paid media programs, ensuring strong operational performance and profitability
  • Drive organic growth and new business development by serving as paid media lead in pitches, RFPs, and client expansion opportunities
  • Partner with senior agency leadership to evolve MWW’s paid media offering and strengthen its role within integrated communications

Qualifications

  • 12–15+ years of experience in paid media (required), digital marketing, or integrated agency environments
  • Deep expertise across paid social, programmatic media, and SEM, with strong platform fluency (Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads, TikTok, etc.) 5+ years of experience leading and developing high‑performing teams within an agency environment
  • Proven ability to serve as senior client counsel, influencing decision‑making and navigating complex business challenges
  • Strong understanding of media performance metrics, optimization frameworks, pacing, forecasting, and measurement
  • Experience collaborating across earned media, social strategy, analytics, influencer, and creative disciplines
  • Track record of delivering innovative, results‑driven paid programs that strengthen brand reputation and business outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to translate data into compelling client‑ready storytelling
  • Experience in regulated industries a plus
  • Location: NY Metro area preferred; travel to client sites in Virginia required as needed.
