KID was founded by Robert LoCascio, the former Founder/CEO of LivePerson (NASDAQ:LPSN), and launched during the holiday season of 2025. We now have a foundational level of customers and are ready to expand our product, operations, and go-to-market strategy. With this expansion, we are looking for a full-time Head of Growth to run the Product growth day-to-day.
KID is a safe, creative, AI-powered device for children, designed around imagination, characters, and creation—not passive consumption or ads.
- The product is already in the market and showing strong engagement, especially around AI characters, storytelling, and creative play. KID sits at the intersection of entertainment, AI, hardware, and family trust, with the ambition to become a category-defining platform for children and families.
The Role
We have the product and the initial customers; now we need the engine. The Head of Growth will own the entire P&L for customer acquisition. You are a rare hybrid: a data-driven performance marketer who also understands the nuances of "Parental Trust." You will scale KID from a "cool gadget" to a household name across every major commerce platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Omnichannel Mastery: Lead and optimize sales across DTC (Shopify), Meta, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and major retail marketplaces (Walmart, Target).
- Full-Funnel Marketing: Manage high-scale performance ad spend while simultaneously building organic community and word-of-mouth among parents.
- Distribution Strategy: Identify and execute "New Channel" opportunities, including potential educational or gift-market partnerships.
- Brand Safety: Ensure all growth tactics align with our mission of being the "Safe Alternative" to tablets and ad-driven consumption.
What Success Looks Like
- Efficient Growth: Established a repeatable, data-driven acquisition engine where CAC is optimized and LTV signals are strong across multiple customer segments.
- Market Expansion: Successfully piloted and scaled at least one "New Channel" (e.g., educational partnerships or specialty retail) that moves us beyond digital-only DTC.
