This is not your typical marketing role. Our client operates with extreme efficiency—prioritizing skill and AI over headcount, eliminating bloated processes, and building a team of high-agency operators who move faster and smarter than the market. They're targeting aggressive growth with a small, hand-picked team of just 12 elite performers.
They're seeking a rare talent: a Head of Performance Marketing who is equal parts data scientist, creative strategist, and technical architect. This is a hands-on operator who will own the P&L, leverage AI to amplify output, and scale the brand to 8-figures.
We're open to different levels of candidates—if you have a strong track record of growing brands at scale, we can be flexible on salary and seniority.
What you'll be doing:
- Owning end-to-end paid acquisition strategy across Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, and emerging channels
- Managing the technical nuances of ad algorithms and feeding them the right data to maximize performance
- Driving conversion rate optimization (CRO) by building, testing, and iterating high-converting landing pages and funnels
- Overseeing SMS and email marketing to minimize churn and maximize customer lifetime value through intelligent segmentation and automation
- Owning marketing tracking systems to ensure pristine data attribution based on contribution margin, not vanity metrics
- Utilizing low-code tools and AI to automate reporting, bid management, and creative iterations, removing manual work from day-to-day operations
- Sitting in the driver's seat of the revenue machine with a clear mandate: drive users and sales via paid performance while ruthlessly optimizing customer acquisition cost (CAC)
About you:
- 3-6 years of high-impact experience in a top-tier performance marketing team with proven track record of scaling accounts massively
- Demonstrated success taking accounts from hundreds to thousands or more monthly conversions
- Experience at a high-growth startup/scaleup (ideally e-commerce) or top-tier performance marketing consulting firm specializing in e-commerce
- AI-first mindset with ability to build your own solutions using tools like Cursor, Make.com, or n8n to automate workflows
- Experience in coding or "vibe-coding" to create internal tools and streamline processes
- Highly book smart (demonstrated by top-tier academic results/SATs/GPAs from a top university) yet highly people smart with empathy and sales psychology to understand customer behavior
- Highly street smart with commercial instincts to view marketing through an ROI framework and identify arbitrage opportunities
- Naturally ambitious, hungry, and hardworking with ownership mentality focused on outcomes, not just tasks
- Honors degree from a top-tier university
