Head of Campus Partnerships

The Head of Campus Partnerships at ELFI is a strategic leadership role focused on building, nurturing, and expanding relationships with colleges and universities nationwide. This position is responsible for developing innovative partnership models and ensuring seamless collaboration between campuses and ELFI’s student loan services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for engaging colleges and universities, positioning ELFI as a trusted partner.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between ELFI and college leadership, including financial aid directors, enrollment managers, and student services teams.
  • Negotiate and formalize partnership agreements.
  • Collaborate with campus departments to integrate loan products, financial literacy programs, and support services.
  • Monitor changes in federal, state, and institutional policies impacting student loans and adapt partnership approaches.
  • Lead a team of partnership managers and support staff.
  • Analyze partnership performance metrics.
  • Design and deliver workshops, webinars, and presentations.
  • Work closely with technology, marketing, and regulatory teams.
  • Represent the company at higher education conferences, industry forums, and campus events.
  • Set an example for your team and manage staff, including hiring, training, assessment, and performance.
  • Maintain clear communication, create a respectful work environment, and ensure compliance with anti‑discrimination laws.
  • Engage with leaders in other departments and senior executives.
  • Work with HR on staffing, compensation, and compliance matters.
  • Review security guidelines and protect confidential information.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory compliance, including the Bank Secrecy Act, AML, consumer privacy, and fair lending.
  • Participate in training sessions and scheduling coordination as necessary.
  • Maintain focus, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Travel up to 40% as required.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in partnership development, higher education, financial services, or a related area.
  • Preferred: 7+ years in student loan finance partnership development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree.
  • Strong understanding of student loan products, compliance requirements, and higher education landscape.
