Sales/Marketing Director (International Trading) (CA/YM)

Position Overview

An international trading company is seeking a Sales/Marketing Director to join their team in Cerritos, CA. This position is responsible for managing and overseeing the sales of aluminum, stainless steel sheets, plates, and marketing operations in the organization. Work experience in the aluminum/steel industry, a bachelor's degree or higher, 5+ years experience in B2B sales management, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and supervisory work experience is required. It is a full‑time, in‑person, exempt position with excellent benefits and a 401(k) plus bonus (profit share). The company can support a relocation fee from other states to CA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve pre-established revenue goals and increase occupancy
• Lead and mentor a dynamic team of sales and marketing professionals, ensuring alignment with the resort’s mission, vision, and values
• Identify target customers for the company and orchestrate a strategic plan to sell and market directly to those individuals and groups
• Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly
• Direct advertising, promotional events, public relations, and digital campaigns
• Research competitors to stay current with similar products or services on the market
• Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals
• Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets
• Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers to the product or service
• Attend business trips domestically

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor's degree
• Must have 5+ years experience in B2B sales management
• Must have experience in the aluminum, stainless steel sheets or plates industries
• Experience in business development or new venture creation is a big plus
• Basic knowledge of hands‑on experience with digital marketing and/or e‑commerce
• Must have supervisory work experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Must be able to travel domestically
