For a private equity–backed international group operating in the premium design and architectural solutions sector, we are seeking a Senior Sales Director USA, reporting directly to the President USA, with full responsibility for driving commercial growth, expanding market presence, and building a scalable sales organization across the United States.
This role will be central to the execution of the Group’s 3–5 year growth and value creation plan, aimed at strengthening brand positioning, accelerating business development, and expanding the commercial footprint through a structured go-to-market strategy and strategic partnerships.
Role & Challenge
The Sales Director USA will hold end-to-end leadership of the entire U.S. commercial organization, with responsibility for:
- Revenue growth
- Channel development and expansion
- Brand positioning and market penetration
- Pricing and commercial policy strategy
- Sales team leadership and performance
- Strategic account management
- Development of partnerships with key distributors and large-scale players
The executive will operate as both a commercial strategist and a hands-on leader, capable of translating market opportunities into tangible growth by building strong networks, leading high-performing teams, and engaging directly with top customers and strategic stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Strategy & Business Growth
- Define and implement the overall U.S. commercial strategy, aligned with President USA and group policies
- Deliver ambitious revenue, margin, and market share targets across the U.S. region
- Develop and execute channel strategies in accordance with group strategies
- Identify and unlock new growth opportunities through market mapping, segmentation and go-to-market innovation
- Drive brand awareness and premium positioning in the U.S. market in synergy with Marketing
- Channel Development: Outdoor Living
- Strengthen, expand, and professionalize the customers network
- Set standards for dealer performance, coverage, and customer experience
- Develop high-quality pipeline of new customers in priority areas
- Strategic Partnerships & Key Accounts
- Identify, negotiate and develop partnerships with large customers and strategic channel partners
- Directly manage key national accounts and top strategic customers
- Represent the company in front of major clients and partners, ensuring long-term value and retention
- Pricing Strategy & Commercial Policies
- Propose and drive pricing strategies to the President, ensuring consistency with premium positioning and margin objectives
- Propose commercial policies to the President: terms & conditions, discount frameworks, rebates, and promotion structures
- Monitor market competitiveness and recommend pricing adjustments based on data and positioning
- Planning, Forecasting & Reporting
- Own and deliver the U.S. sales forecast and commercial budget
- Monitor performance using dashboards and KPIs (orders, revenue, margin, channel performance, pipeline)
- Prepare and present updates to President USA and group stakeholders
- Ensure coordination with Operations for demand planning and execution excellence
Ideal Candidate
Experience
- Proven track record as Senior Sales Manager in a complex organization
- Solid success in industries such as:
- premium building materials
- architectural solutions / windows / facades
- outdoor living / pergolas / furniture / systems
- technical products distributed through dealer networks
- Demonstrated achievements in building and managing:
- customer networks
- partnerships with large distributors
Business Mindset & Skills
- Strategic and analytical: able to define go-to-market and translate it into execution
- Strong negotiation and influence skills across different stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a private equity environment with ambitious targets and fast execution
- Highly hands-on, entrepreneurial, accountable leader
- Excellent ability to combine brand positioning and premium storytelling with commercial discipline
- Able to set direction and drive execution through structure, metrics and clarity
- Cross-functional collaboration ability (Marketing, Finance, Operations)
Languages
- Fluent English required
- Italian is a plus

Compensation & Location
- Location: Headquarter in New York
- Base salary: $150,000, depending on experience and scope of responsibility.
