Responsibilities of the Sales Director

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals.
• Forecast revenue, set sales targets, and create action plans to achieve them.
• Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to adjust strategies proactively.
• Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
• Establish performance metrics, conduct regular reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
• Identify new business opportunities and key growth markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic accounts, partners, and stakeholders.
• Support the team in high‑value negotiations and major customer engagements.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance to support integrated go‑to‑market initiatives.
• Champion a customer‑centric sales culture that prioritizes value and long‑term partnerships.
• Manage escalations and ensure customer satisfaction.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus).
• 8–12+ years of sales experience, including 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and scaling sales organizations.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Sales pipeline health and forecast accuracy.
• Customer retention and satisfaction.
• Team performance and talent development.
