The Order Builder is responsible for preparing customer orders for delivery. In this role, the Order Builder will work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team of dedicated individuals to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for accurately building and staging orders based on pick ticket for loading onto delivery trucks Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation Use appropriate manual or powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) to move product and materials from/to designated locations Adhere procedures relating to product age, quality, and safety Responsible for meeting productivity requirements Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of the warehouse
Job Requirements
High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred Minimum 6 months of general work experience required Prior warehouse experience preferred Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred Must have the ability to repetitively lift, push and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance Must have the ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
