Finance - Investor Relations The Group Morningstar's Finance team is a global organization that provides leadership and oversight through core stewardship and business partnership activities. The team works collaboratively across the organization to help Morningstar achieve its strategic and financial objectives and create long-term value for shareholders. Within Finance, the Investor Relations function is responsible for clear, consistent, and credible communication with shareholders and the broader investment community. The Role The Investor Relations Analyst supports Morningstar's investor relations program by contributing to shareholder communications and external reporting and by owning recurring responsibilities within the IR function. The role works closely with the Head of Investor Relations and Treasury and partners across Finance, Legal, Communications, and Morningstar's business units. This is an execution focused analyst role suited for an analytically minded professional interested in public company communications, financial markets, and corporate finance. The analyst will support core IR activities and special projects as needed, while developing a strong understanding of Morningstar's business, financial results, and investor base. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, clear written communication, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a highly collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Support the preparation of quarterly earnings releases, earnings presentations, and related materials, coordinating with Finance and business stakeholders. Contribute to key sections of SEC filings, including Forms 10‑Q and 10‑K, by supporting drafting, data validation, tie‑outs, and review processes. Assist in the production of Morningstar's annual report, working with Finance, design partners, and business teams to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with broader company messaging. Support the planning and execution of the Annual Shareholder Meeting, including materials preparation, logistics coordination, and post meeting follow-up. Manage Morningstar's regular written investor Q&A process, coordinating inputs from internal stakeholders and senior leadership under the direction of the Head of Investor Relations and Treasury. Maintain and update Morningstar's Investor Relations website, including content updates, quality control, and coordination on enhancements or design changes. Support investor and peer analysis, including monitoring shareholder movements, compiling market and peer data, and preparing summary materials. Maintain internal calendars, workplans, and process documentation to support the smooth execution of recurring IR deliverables. Contribute to ad‑hoc Investor Relations and Treasury projects as needed. Qualifications 2-5 years of relevant experience in investor relations, finance, accounting, consulting, investment analysis, corporate communications, or a related field. Strong analytical skills with experience working with financial data, models, and disclosures; advanced proficiency in Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise materials. Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and recurring deliverables with professionalism and sound judgment. Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and work with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related discipline preferred. Preferred Attributes Exposure to public company reporting, earnings processes, or SEC filings. Familiarity with financial markets, equity research, or investor-facing communications.

Total Cash Compensation Range $74,325.00 - 126,350.00 USD Annual
