smartdept. is searching for a Web Designer (Figma) for a travel and tourism marketing client located in Sarasota, FL. The ideal candidate will come with 3+ years of experience. This is a project-based, fully remote contract.

This role will support the development team by designing and building out web pages in Figma for implementation. The ideal candidate has strong UI/UX fundamentals and experience creating clean, developer-ready files.

What You'll Do: Design and build web page layouts in Figma aligned with brand standards Translate creative direction into polished, user-friendly web designs Create responsive layouts and components for desktop and mobile Collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless handoff Maintain design systems and ensure consistency across pages Prepare organized, developer-ready Figma files What You'll Need:

3+ years of professional web design experience Advanced proficiency in Figma (must-have) Strong understanding of responsive design and UX best practices Experience designing pages for CMS-driven websites Ability to collaborate with developers and provide clean design specs Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
