• Collaborate with Communications Leadership to creatively convey inspiring narratives of the Red Cross.
• Capture dynamic images and videos at events, training sessions, and disaster responses while adhering to Red Cross brand standards.
• Take a variety of shots, including portraits, candid moments, and studio images, to vividly showcase the Red Cross's commitment to service.
• Edit, caption, and upload visual content to our online platforms; aim for timely sharing with local chapter and regional communication teams, ideally within 24 hours.
• Enhance outreach and engagement by sharing compelling images and videos across social media platforms.
• Work together with local social media teams to showcase your storytelling and the experiences of those we serve.
• Uphold the dignity and respect of clients, volunteers, and partners, ensuring all necessary photo releases are properly obtained.
• Effectively organize and deliver all photo/video documentation, ensuring captions, quotes, and releases are systematically filed.

During Disasters:

• Collaborate with the communications team to identify key narratives and priorities for visual storytelling.
• Be prepared to deploy to disaster scenes and capture significant moments that reflect the Red Cross's response efforts.
