Marketing Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team for Summer 2026. In this role, you will assist in exploring the Silicon Carbide (SiC) epitaxial wafer market by conducting global market and competitive research and gathering pertinent, comprehensive data related to existing and emerging market of interest, while supporting data analysis, strategy development, and report generation based on research findings. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Identifying markets and applications of interest Identifying market leaders in chosen markets Identifying and quantifying competitive landscape Developing SWOT analysis on competitors within chosen market Identifying potential customers and target application(s) within markets of interest Assist in outreach strategy to potential customers Assist in developing strategic market plans Create, film and upload educational product videos for internet viewing. Review and update product databases Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree If bachelor's is ok: Please indicate preferred year: X Rising Junior (completed 2 years by start) Rising Senior (completed 3 years by start) Majors: Marketing/Communications, Business Management Relevant coursework or extracurricular experience in economics, enginerging, thermodynamics is a plus. Open to currently enrolled students or those who have graduated within one year of the internship start date. Skills & Other Requirements Excellent written and verbal communication. Team-oriented but able to work independently when needed. Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and time management. Working Conditions This role will be based on-site in Easton, PA. Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary. Work areas include typical office setting, manufacturing and laboratory departments Physical Requirements Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or in meetings. Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents. Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Safety Requirements All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. EHS standards.
