This role is a fantastic opportunity for attorneys experienced in civil litigation who are passionate about in-depth legal research and writing for challenging class action and multidistrict litigation (MDL) cases. The firm offers specialized training, making it ideal for those keen to expand their legal expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Compose compelling legal briefs, motions, and memoranda for class action and MDL matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research on intricate civil litigation topics.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys to develop strategic case arguments.
• Examine and interpret discovery materials, depositions, and expert reports.
• Ensure that all written materials adhere to court rules and procedures.
• Participate in team discussions and contribute to case strategy development.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in civil litigation with a focus on advanced legal writing.
• Proven excellence in research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple assignments effectively.
• Must be a member of the California bar.
• Experience with class actions or MDLs is advantageous but not required.
