Technical Graphic Designer Job at ASG in Commerce

Title: Technical Graphic Designer

Job Functions:

·        Creation of visual documents – Using customer provided layouts, build user friendly graphic files based on internal and external standards

·        Office support – Organizing signage, Shipping, and Invoicing

·        Installation of physical signage – Affix lockout tagout placards and icons to customer manufacturing equipment based on internal and external standards

Education/Experience/Requirements:

·        BFA, BA, or BS in Graphic Design or equivalent

-> Experience with CorelDRAW (or similar graphics program) a plus

·        Ability to communicate effectively with various personnel

·        Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation of LOTO activities

·        ASG will provide specific training in the following areas (prior experience a plus)

-> Knowledge of LOTO procedures and best practices (ex: OSHA 1910.147)

-> Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and equipment manuals

-> Understanding of safety procedures and regulations

·        Overnight travel may be required within North America and potentially abroad
