Member Services Representative

As a Member Services Representative, you'll be the face of the YMCA, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for members of all backgrounds and abilities. Your responsibilities will include: Give quality tours to potential new members Promoting and selling memberships as well as other YMCA programs (e.g., swim lessons, youth sports, personal training, etc.) Being knowledgeable about program offerings and proactively looking up accurate information online or through internal systems when needed Giving quality tours tailored to the interests of prospective members Greeting members by name and scanning members in Building relationships and helping retain members Providing prompt, friendly, and professional service Multitasking in a fast-paced environment while managing front desk responsibilities Participating in paid team meetings and completing trainings within the first 60 days Performing light cleaning duties and helping with hospitality tasks (e.g., making coffee, folding towels, stocking supplies, maintaining lobby) Supporting your team to create a positive and engaging environment Schedule: Flexible hours: Open, close, or mid-day shifts available Hours vary between 10 to 29 per week, depending on branch needs What we're looking for: A positive attitude and team spirit Strong communication and professional customer service skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized Proactive approach to learning new information and using online/internal resources Comfortable with standing for extended periods Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic web navigation Bilingual a plus, but not required High school diploma or GED required The YMCA provides equal opportunity in employment to all employees and applicants for employment regardless of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, sex, disability, age, or veteran status.
