Position Overview A private family in Woodmere, NY is seeking a kind, energetic, and nurturing Nanny to care for their 6-month-old infant. The nanny will work alongside another full-time nanny who primarily cares for the family’s 2-year-old child, creating a collaborative and supportive childcare environment. The ideal candidate will be warm, attentive, and experienced with infant care, while also being comfortable working as part of a small childcare team. The mother works from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, though full childcare support is still required throughout the week. This role is well suited for a professional nanny who enjoys working with infants, maintaining routines, and supporting the healthy development of a young child. Responsibilities • Provide attentive and nurturing care for a 6-month-old infant • Maintain consistent daily routines including feeding, naps, playtime, and developmental activities • Prepare bottles and maintain proper sanitation of feeding supplies • Engage the child in age-appropriate developmental play and activities • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the child • Manage the infant’s laundry, clothing organization, and nursery upkeep • Collaborate with the second nanny to ensure smooth daily childcare coverage • Communicate regularly with parents regarding the baby’s schedule, milestones, and needs • Assist with occasional childcare tasks related to the toddler when needed Requirements • Minimum 3–5 years of professional nanny experience in private homes • Strong infant care experience required • Excellent references from previous employers • Warm, patient, and nurturing personality • Energetic and engaged with children’s development • Ability to work collaboratively with another nanny • Strong communication and organizational skills • Authorized to work in the United States
