Connections Personnel is hiring for a temp to hire customer service representative for our client located in Garwood, NJ. Looking for a candidate with 1-3 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment. Company has been in business for 50+ years and deals with aerospace and industrial applications. The Customer Service Associate interacts with customers, documents and processes orders, creates quotes, checks stock, and provides approximate lead times on customized products.

Duties/Responsibilities: The main job functions and responsibilities of a Customer Service Associate include but not limited to the following: Interact with customers via telephone, email or online chat. Process and enter orders received into company software applications. Provide quality customer service by responding to quote requests, questions and concerns in a timely manager. Maintain records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, comments or complaints. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize and mange time effectively. Proficient computer skills with ability to learn new software. Must speak English. Drug and Background check done prior to starting.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. One to three years proven customer service experience.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. xsgimln Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Benefits: When position goes permanent company will offer medical, 401K, vacation and holiday pay. Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday thru Friday Salary: $20/hr
