The Opportunity: SESAC Music Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Benefits Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will support the administration, accuracy, and delivery of our global benefits programs, ensuring compliance and providing an exceptional employee experience across our multi-country workforce. You will partner closely with employees, leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality processes and help shape the future of total rewards at SESAC Music Group. What You'll Do: Benefits Administration: Administer global benefits programs, including health, dental and vision plans, life and disability insurance, retirement plans, flexible spending accounts, and wellness offerings. Support end-to-end benefits processes across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with regional regulations. Process enrollments, life events, terminations, and eligibility updates across HRIS and vendor platforms. Data Integrity & Compliance: Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of benefit enrollments, deductions, and vendor reports. Support compliance-related activities including Form 5500 filings, reporting requirements, and non-discrimination testing. Stay current with regulatory changes across federal, state, and international jurisdictions. Employee Support & Experience: Serve as a primary benefits resource for employees, delivering clear, empathetic, timely support. Coordinate and support open enrollment, including configuration, communications, and post-audit reviews. Leave of Absence Program Management: Administer FMLA, state leave programs, disability claims, statutory leave entitlements, continuous leave tracking, and ADA accommodations. Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with all leave policies. Vendor Partnership & Collaboration: Maintain strong relationships with carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators. Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate deductions, leave pay coordination, and reporting. Continuous Improvement: Analyze benefits data to identify trends or opportunities for program enhancements. Improve documentation, processes, and workflows to scale with our growing global workforce. What You'll Bring: Essential: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 3+ years of progressive experience in benefits or total rewards administration Knowledge of health plans, disability programs, retirement plans, and leave regulations Hands-on HRIS experience and strong skills in data auditing Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts simply Exceptional attention to detail and data integrity High level of discretion with confidential information Analytical skills and continuous improvement mindset Preferred: Experience supporting multi-state or global employee populations Experience with ADP or similar HRIS platforms Experience with FMLA, ADA, disability claims, and state-specific leave laws Vendor management experience This is a hybrid role that will require you to commute to our Nashville office a minimum of three days a week.
