Position Overview
Accel Entertainment is seeking a motivated and energetic Summer Marketing & Events Intern to support the Marketing Team during the busy summer season. This role will assist with the execution of marketing initiatives at corporate-sponsored golf outings, community events, and promotional activations throughout Illinois.
This is a hands-on, field-based internship ideal for someone looking to gain real-world experience in brand activations, event logistics, and community marketing within a fast-paced environment.
This position will run roughly from May 27, 2026 (right after Memorial Day) to August 14, 2026, with some flexibility on those dates based on candidates schedules.
Key Responsibilities Support the Marketing Team in planning and executing summer golf outings and community events Assist with setup and breakdown of branded materials, signage, tents, tables, and giveaways Represent Accel Entertainment professionally at sponsored and community events Engage with attendees to promote brand awareness and AE Player Rewards initiatives Help track and manage marketing inventory and promotional materials Capture photos and videos for social media and internal marketing use Assist with post-event recaps, reporting, and follow-up communications Travel to event locations throughout Illinois using company-provided vehicle Provide administrative and organizational support to the Marketing Team as needed Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, or related field Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable working in outdoor environments during summer months Willingness to travel approximately 60% during season (ground travel by company-provided vehicle) 21 years or older with a valid driver's license required Ability to lift and transport event materials (up to 40 lbs) Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with social media platforms preferred What You'll Gain

Base Pay Range
:
$17 hourly
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
