Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer
Position Overview
Our partner is seeking a talented Landscape Architect or Landscape Designer to join their collaborative design, sales, and construction team. This role works closely with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors to deliver comprehensive landscape design, consultation, and installation services.

This individual will be responsible for site analysis and measurements, base map preparation, design development, client presentations, and supporting sales efforts. The role also includes material selection, as well as construction observation and oversight to ensure projects are executed with precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities Conduct site measurements, inventory, and analysis Prepare base maps and develop conceptual landscape designs Create grading and drainage plans Lead client presentations and support sales initiatives Select materials and collaborate with construction teams Oversee construction progress to ensure alignment with design intent Maintain strong client relationships and provide ongoing communication throughout projects Coordinate with build teams to address challenges and ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule
Qualifications The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and passionate about creating thoughtful, high-quality outdoor spaces. They thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously. Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape design or design/build Degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field strongly preferred Strong knowledge of Wisconsin landscape plants Experience with vector-based design software (AutoCAD, Dynascape, or similar) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite Solid understanding of topography, both visually and in design plans Experience with Google SketchUp is a plus Prior sales experience is a plus, but not required
