Enterprise Solution Architect
Location: San Francisco, CA Duration: 12-Month W2 Contract Pay Rate: $90-$105/hour depending on experience
Russell Tobin is partnering with a leading global retail organization to hire an
Enterprise Solution Architect
to join their Enterprise Architecture team. This role will support enterprise transformation initiatives, beginning with marketing transformation programs, and will focus on translating business requirements into scalable architecture designs and solution blueprints.
This architect will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering groups to define architecture roadmaps, create design artifacts, and guide implementation across enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities Translate enterprise business requirements into solution architecture designs and technical blueprints. Create architecture artifacts including
design documents, context diagrams, roadmaps, and solution blueprints . Partner with business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and align on architecture decisions. Communicate architecture designs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Support enterprise initiatives related to customer journeys and business transformation programs. Collaborate with engineering teams by handing off finalized architecture designs for development and implementation. Contribute to long-term architecture roadmaps aligned with business objectives and enterprise strategy. Required Qualifications
6-10 years of experience in
Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or related roles . Hands-on experience creating
architecture documentation, design artifacts, roadmaps, and blueprints . Strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Experience communicating architecture designs to cross-functional stakeholders. Ability to work in complex environments and drive alignment across multiple teams. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in
retail, ecommerce, or consumer-facing organizations . Exposure to
AI/ML-enabled solutions or data-driven platforms . Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and design methodologies. Additional Information
This role sits within the
Enterprise Architecture team , which supports multiple value streams including customer journey and enterprise initiatives. The team is approximately
25 architects and technology leaders
working across enterprise transformation programs. The ideal candidate is a
hands-on architect
who can design solutions, create architecture artifacts, and communicate effectively across business and engineering teams.
