eBay - Global Seller & Advertising Partnerships Position Summary The Director of US Focus Category Enterprise Seller Development is a senior leadership role responsible for accelerating the growth, performance, and long-term success of eBay's most strategic enterprise sellers within key US focus categories, including Fashion, Automotive Parts & Accessories, Collectables and eBay Refurbished. This role combines deep enterprise account partnership, seller education, and advertising strategy with people leadership and cross-functional influence. The Director will lead enterprise seller development strategy end-to-end-owning seller benchmark performance, GMV growth, advertising adoption, and revenue expansion-while guiding teams that deliver consultative, data-driven seller partnerships at scale. This role is highly visible and requires strong executive presence, category expertise, and the ability to influence across Product, Ads, GCX, Business Development, and Category leadership. Experience in electronics and hard goods categories is a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities Enterprise Seller Strategy & Partnership Leadership Own and scale enterprise seller development strategy for US focus categories, partnering with some of eBay's largest and most complex enterprise sellers. Build and maintain teams of Focus Category aligned Seller Development/Relationship management teams tasked to support eBay most engaged and largest sellers Establish executive-level partnerships through regular business reviews, detailed planning, and consultative engagement. Develop and oversee customized growth plans aligned to seller goals, category priorities, and eBay revenue objectives. Analyze seller business performance, identifying growth opportunities, risks, and investment priorities using data and financial modeling. Guide sellers through platform, policy, and product changes, ensuring compliance while minimizing business disruption. Partner closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex seller issues and remove barriers to growth. Advertising, Monetization & Performance Growth Drive enterprise seller adoption and optimization of eBay's tools and initiatives including Category Specific Tools, Product Releases, APIs, and Ads Products. Coordinate development and execution of daily deals, seller-funded coupons, and promotional strategies to increase visibility, conversion, and GMV. Provide seller insights and feedback to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap decisions and ad improvements. Monitor sales performance, adoption, and return on investment across categories, ensuring alignment with seller and eBay objectives. People Leadership & Organizational Development Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers passionate about Enterprise Seller Development and/or Partner Management. Establish clear performance expectations, mentoring frameworks, and career development paths. Develop a high-performance, inclusive culture with a strong bias toward ownership, accountability, and results. Build best-practice sharing programs and scalable seller education initiatives across the enterprise seller community. Strategic Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence Lead large-scale, cross-functional seller initiatives in partnership with Category, GCX, Ads, and Business Development teams. Evaluate the impact of new policies, platform changes, and category strategies on enterprise sellers. Define, implement, and measure seller guidelines and education efficiency. Deliver executive-level reporting and storytelling backed by data, insights, and financial impact. Act as a trusted thought partner to senior leadership on category performance, seller health, and growth opportunities. Position Qualifications Required Experience & Skills 10+ years of experience leading e-commerce marketplace teams, enterprise account management, and/or performance marketing. Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams. Strong understanding of enterprise seller economics, critical metrics, and P&L management. Deep knowledge of e-commerce industry trends, marketplace dynamics, and digital advertising. Outstanding executive-level communication and presentation skills with the capacity to develop senior collaborators' perspectives. Advanced analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities. Strong project management, organizational, and operational efficiency. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with shifting priorities. Proficiency with Google Workspace and data analysis tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience in automotive, electronics, hard goods, and/or refurbished categories. Strong understanding of sales channel platforms, logistic optimization and performance marketing. Demonstrated success driving GMV and revenue growth through consultative partnerships. Additional Details The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below: $152,000 - $227,500 Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
