Duration : Full-Time Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Messaging & Distributed Platform Administrator to provide operational and technical support across IBM MQ, IIB/ACE, Confluent Kafka, TIBCO, and distributed database platforms including Redis and Cassandra. The role sits within the Messaging Production Support Team and requires a strong hands-on operator who can work across both middleware and data layers in a 24x7 enterprise environment. Responsibilities: Messaging & Middleware: Administer: IBM MQ queue managers, channels, and message flows across Linux and Windows; manage IIB / ACE broker deployments. Support Confluent Kafka cluster operations — broker health, topic management, consumer group monitoring, and lag diagnostics. Administer TIBCO RV and EMS environments including daemon management, transport config, queues, topics, and SSL/TLS renewals. Perform platform upgrades, patching, and configuration changes per enterprise change control procedures. Distributed Database Administration: Deploy and maintain distributed database clusters on Linux — Redis, Cassandra, CockroachDB, and SingleStore. Manage Redis replication, eviction policies, and Sentinel/Cluster configuration, tune for performance and reliability. Support multiple environments (dev, performance, production) with strong change isolation discipline. Operations & Automation: Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation; lead incident triage and root cause analysis for P1/P2 platform failures. Build Splunk and Dynatrace dashboards for messaging throughput, queue depth, error rates, and database health. Write Python and shell scripts to automate health checks, alerting, log parsing, and routine maintenance tasks. Manage tickets via JIRA and ServiceNow; maintain runbooks and platform documentation. Experience: 7+ years in enterprise middleware administration or distributed systems engineering. Production-grade IBM MQ administration — queue managers, clustering, dead-letter queues, security exits. IBM IIB / App Connect Enterprise (ACE) deployment and message flow troubleshooting. Confluent Kafka production support — broker operations, topic management, consumer group diagnostics. 3+ years with distributed database platforms: Redis, Cassandra, CockroachDB, or equivalent. Strong Linux / RHEL proficiency; Python or shell scripting for operational automation. Experience with TIBCO Rendezvous (RV) and TIBCO EMS. Familiarity with meshIQ Navigator and Atrium Orchestrator. Skills: Enterprise Messaging IBM MQ IIB Kafka App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Education: Bachelor’s degree.
