Position Overview We are looking for an Assistant Apparel Designer to support our team in developing apparel collections from concept to production. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, able to follow creative direction, meet deadlines, and passionate about learning the full design and product development process.
Key Responsibilities Assist designer in seasonal development and trend research. Support with sample fittings, and technical drawings Help source fabrics, trims, track materials, and manage sample flow Support the development of tech packs BOM, line sheets, and garment detail. Communicate design approvals to factory and assist with resolving any issues Build fabric and trim library and maintain organized design files Work closely with marketing, e-commerce, and development teams to ensure smooth product realization
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, or related field (or equivalent experience) 1–2+ years of experience in apparel design or internships in fashion/apparel, xsgimln with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Strong understanding of garment construction and fabrics Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and organization skills Excellent communication and team-player attitude Open to travel overseas for factory visits and trade shows.
