Overview The Support Products & Services (SP&S) team is looking for a solutions-oriented and customer-obsessed Programmatic Advertising Specialist to help advertisers troubleshoot and unblock self-service display, video, and audio campaign issues within the Amazon Demand Side Platform (ADSP). In this role, you will respond to advertisers’ contacts across topics such as campaign setup, creative moderation, performance, delivery, reporting, ad tags and trackers, and general campaign or account-level questions, in a timely manner, utilizing existing SOPs and your digital advertising knowledge. A successful Programmatic Advertising Specialist will have a proven track record in interacting with global clients (chat & email) and a foundational understanding of digital advertising. You will demonstrate strong communication skills, articulate troubleshooting steps to advertisers and agencies, and leverage SOPs, blurbs, and broader knowledge to help advertisers resolve issues. You will earn trust by diving deep when the issue is unclear or unfamiliar, show curiosity, and develop deep expertise in ADSP ad products, recognizing when operational gaps require escalation to leads or managers. Note: This will be a 12 months contract role. Key responsibilities Respond promptly and accurately to live chat or email support questions, helping advertisers troubleshoot issues related to campaign setup, creative moderation, performance, delivery, reporting, and ad tags/trackers, or general campaign/account questions. Provide onboarding support, explanations of new features, product usage consultations, and industry best practices to advertisers who reach out through contact channels. Analyze and interpret data with advertisers to identify campaign improvement areas, root causes, and optimization opportunities. Assist customers with questions related to product beta participation, capture customer feedback, and collaborate with program partners to highlight product gaps and opportunities. Escale technical troubleshooting issues and surface to leadership when there is a potential wide-spread impact. Identify opportunities to update existing support documentation and escalate to content specialists when appropriate. Mentor new and junior employees to up-level their knowledge of Amazon’s programmatic advertising offerings and become a subject matter expert (SME) for ADSP troubleshooting. A day in the life The Advertising Support DSP specialist unblocks issues and complexities for advertisers via email and live channels, handles escalations, supports audit requirements, coaching, training, and participates in programs or projects.
