We are seeking a
Senior SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM)
Consultant to support a leading process manufacturing client in the life sciences industry. This role will focus on implementing and optimizing SAP DM solutions to enhance shop-floor execution, visibility, and integration with enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support
end-to-end SAP DM (Digital Manufacturing)
implementations (minimum 2+ full lifecycle projects)
Gather, document, and translate
business and shop-floor requirements
into scalable SAP DM solutions
Configure and deploy
SAP DM capabilities , including production execution, data collection, and manufacturing insights
Design and support
integration with SAP S/4HANA (PP)
and other systems (e.g., MES, BTP, CPI)
Collaborate with technical teams to define
development and integration requirements
Facilitate
workshops with business and manufacturing stakeholders
to align solutions with operational goals
Enable
real-time production visibility
(OEE, downtime, scrap, WIP, etc.) through dashboards and reporting
Support
machine connectivity and automated data collection
initiatives
Participate in
SIT, UAT, cutover, and go-live support , including hypercare
Provide
end-user training
and post-go-live support
Required Qualifications
7+ years of SAP experience with
strong focus on SAP DM / DMC
Proven track record of
at least 2 SAP DM implementations
Hands-on experience with:
Production execution and shop-floor integration
SAP S/4HANA manufacturing integration (PP)
Manufacturing master data (BOMs, routings, work centers)
Strong understanding of
SAP DM architecture and technical components
Ability to clearly define and communicate
functional and technical requirements
Experience in
Process Manufacturing environments
(life sciences, pharma, diagnostics preferred)
Preferred Experience
Exposure to
Digital Twin / process modeling (e.g., Signavio)
Experience with
SAP BTP, CPI, and machine connectivity frameworks
Familiarity with
regulated environments (GxP, validation processes)
SAP Activate / Fit-to-Standard methodology experience
