Assistant Center Director , you’ll play a vital role in helping lead our center forward. With KinderCare’s world-class curriculum, nationally recognized accreditation process, and dedicated teaching teams, you’ll partner closely with the Center Director to build a thriving, high-quality learning environment. What You’ll Do In this leadership role, you’ll support the day-to-day success of the center while continuing to build your own leadership skills:

Partner with the Center Director to lead and support teaching staff, families, and center operations

Help achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, quality, and engagement

Build strong, trusting relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners

Step in where needed to support the center—including classroom support, food service, or transportation

Champion the value of early childhood education and bring it to life for children, families, and staff

What You’ll Bring We’re looking for motivated leaders who are ready to grow:

At least

2 years of experience

in early childhood education

Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices

Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to meet state-specific requirements for the role

Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds, work indoors/outdoors, and actively engage with children

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

A commitment to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for all children
