Position Assistant Band Director – Effective 2026‑27 School Year, location: Kettering Middle School.
General Information Seeking applicants with an Ohio P‑12 or K‑12 Comprehensive Music Teaching License who have the ability to teach orchestra music classes.
Major Responsibilities
Develop daily and seasonal educational objectives.
Supervise and manage all classroom activities.
Participate in school‑wide programs and activities.
Communicate with parents and guardians of assigned students.
Maintain records of student progress.
Provide a variety of instructional experiences for all students.
Qualifications
Valid Ohio teaching license.
Must pass criminal background checks and pre‑employment drug screening.
Collaboration and problem‑solving skills.
Educational technology skills.
Salary According to the approved teacher salary schedule.
