We're seeking a skilled Marketing Manager with a passion for online retail marketing and/or grocery (in equal parts). The Marketing Manager is responsible for the customer experience and supplier marketing relationship online for their categories. They are a CX expert who understands customer profiles and how to engage with them through various merchandising levers. They will own strategic growth categories within their business, influence initiatives, and improve existing processes. This includes developing and executing marketing campaigns, managing marketing relationships with vendors, and overseeing the go-to-market strategy for new products and launches.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the grocery industry, as well as experience in marketing and brand management. A successful candidate will be data‑centric, adept at driving innovative campaigns, and relentlessly devoted to customer experience.
Key job responsibilities
Own and manage relationships with key vendors in assigned categories, overseeing marketing spend and promotional activities.
Develop and implement category‑specific marketing strategies aimed at driving growth and customer engagement.
Take full ownership of customer experience (CX) for designated online specialty pages and events, continually optimizing for quality and customer experience.
Manage end‑to‑end planning, implementation, and analysis of marketing campaigns, both vendor‑funded and in‑house.
Establish and maintain cross‑functional workflows, in coordination with various internal teams to execute marketing initiatives.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, securing alignment on category‑level initiatives and reporting on performance metrics.
Basic Qualifications
4+ years of professional non‑internship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
Experience building, executing and scaling cross‑functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
Experience producing marketing promotional material for Owned & Operated channels
Experience in brand identity and voice development
Experience creating brand marketing content
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
Salary & Benefits The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
