Utilities One INC is seeking independent business operators to perform door-to-door (D2D) sales services in Tacoma, Washington in support of residential internet programs offered by partner Internet Service Providers (ISP).
This is a performance-based independent contractor opportunity focused on customer acquisition and accurate order submission. Independent Contractors determine the manner, means, schedule, and methods by which they perform their sales activities, subject only to compliance with applicable laws and ISP program requirements.

Scope of Services
Conduct door-to-door outreach to residential customers
Present available ISP services at ISP-approved serviceable addresses
Secure customer authorization for service orders
Order Submission
Submit completed orders through approved ISP or program systems
Ensure information submitted is accurate and complete
Cooperate with Quality Assurance (QA) review processes related to submitted orders
Serviceability Limitation Serviceable addresses and coverage eligibility are determined solely by the applicable ISP. Independent Contractors may solicit service only at ISP-approved serviceable locations.
Work Structure
Independent, field-based opportunity
Contractors determine their own schedule, frequency of activity, and methods of customer engagement
No minimum hours required
No maximum hours imposed
Contractors are not required to work exclusively with Utilities One INC and may provide services to other businesses, subject to contractual terms
Utilities One INC does not control the day-to-day manner in which Contractors conduct outreach activities
Compensation
Performance-based compensation per qualified sale or completed installation, depending on ISP program terms
Potential eligibility for performance-based incentives
Payments subject to QA validation and applicable chargeback policies
No hourly wage, salary, draw, or guaranteed earnings
Detailed compensation terms are defined in the Independent Contractor Agreement
Independent Contractors operate as independent business entities and are responsible for their own business operations and expenses, including but not limited to:
Transportation and fuel
Mobile phone and data service
Business taxes and self‑employment obligations
Insurance (if applicable)
Personal equipment
Meals and incidental expenses
Utilities One INC does not provide employee benefits, workers’ compensation coverage, unemployment insurance, paid leave, or employer-sponsored insurance for independent contractors.
Training & Program Resources
Program orientation and compliance guidelines may be provided
Product information and sales materials may be made available
Updates regarding ISP programs may be communicated as needed
Any orientation or informational materials are provided for program alignment purposes only and do not create supervision, control, or an employment relationship.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self‑directed and results‑oriented mindset
Reliable transportation and smartphone access
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Prior sales experience preferred but not required
