Job Description
Expand market presence
by identifying new sales opportunities and developing regional strategies within the food processing and packaging industries.
Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships
with decision‑makers and operational leaders through a consultative sales approach.
Provide technical consultation
by analyzing customer production challenges and recommending equipment solutions that improve efficiency, throughput, and product quality.
Monitor industry and market trends
including competitors, customer needs, and emerging technologies to guide sales strategy.
Collaborate with internal teams
such as engineering, service, and marketing to deliver proposals, demonstrations, and post‑sale support.
Travel frequently across North America
to conduct customer visits, equipment demonstrations, and attend industry events, with occasional international travel.

The Successful Applicant
5-7+ years of experience
in capital equipment sales
Background selling into
food processing, packaging, or industrial manufacturing
sectors
Ability to
explain mechanical systems, automation, and production lines
to both technical and executive audiences
Proven ability to manage long, complex sales cycles (6-18 months)
Experience closing high-value deals ($250K+)
Strong "hunter" sales mentality with success opening new accounts and expanding market presence
Bachelor's degree required , preferably in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Business, or Food Science
Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar platforms
Preferred
Existing relationships with major protein processors, bakery manufacturers, or large food producers
Experience working with
multi-brand industrial equipment portfolios
Bilingual
(Spanish or French)
