POSITION SUMMARY: The Retail Lead is responsible for providing great customer service in our merchandise and pro shop area. This position helps create lasting memories of the tournament and event experience at Oxford Valley Golf Course. Individuals are expected to maintain a pleasant and friendly demeanor with everyone.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Answering inquiries and providing excellent customer service

Proper use of point‑of‑sale software

All opening and/or closing duties

Ability to use a heat press to imprint logos and designs on apparel in an efficient manner

Ability to take orders for custom apparel

Ability to perform and document merchandise inventory

Maintain organized displays and desk area

Perform basic mathematical computations

Balance drawer and manage daily income

Communicate with the public in a tactful, polite, and friendly manner

Maintain and report inventory weekly

Supervise another team members during Pro Shop hours

Additional tasks assigned by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Flexible work schedule (e.g. nights, weekends, holidays)

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to maintain focus in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment

Must have excellent guest service skills

Must be detail‑oriented and have outstanding organizational skills

Ability to multi‑task and prioritize

Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations

Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, and fellow team members

Must work well with others

Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility

Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others

Must be 16 years of age or older

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high

Must be able to operate a heat press

Will be required to stand for extended periods of time

Able to enter information on computers

Must comply with safety and health code standards

The facility has intermittent noise

Must wear proper uniform

Must be available to work weeknights, weekends, and holiday
