Summary of the Position Clinical Director provides strategic leadership, clinical oversight, and operational management for all clinical services within the program. This role ensures high-quality, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care for participants while maintaining compliance and regulatory standards, licensing requirements, and best practices.

Clinical Director supervises clinical staff, direct service professionals, guides program development, and collaborates with internal and external partners to advance the organization’s mission.

In addition to the summary above, the position may include Statewide Program Director duties that include overall administration and oversight of all assigned program(s) within Colorado. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the provision of participant services, personnel management, and budget management. Ensuring staff adhere to current job description, providing direct supervision to staff, and ensuring overall budget is met, documentation follows regulations, and all billing and collections are managed effectively and efficiently. Also includes being responsible for the development of additional programs statewide and business relationships with state officials.

Qualifications / Requirements

Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related is required.

Must be a licensed practitioner with a valid active license in good standing in the State of Colorado as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

5-7 years of experience in clinical experience, including supervision or in a leadership role.

3-5 years of experience in youth services, community programs, or program development.

At least one year of experience in management and supervision.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (O365) (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Knowledge of using various database type systems is helpful.

Some understanding of insurance and third-party billing is helpful.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Bilingual/Spanish Speaking is a plus.

Flexibility in hours and non-traditional work hours, may work some evenings or weekends.

Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage required.
