About the Role
People Results is seeking an entry-level Communications Coordinator to support the organization and distribution of internal and client-facing communications across the firm. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities This position manages communication requests from multiple areas of the business, ensuring they are processed accurately, reviewed appropriately, and distributed on time. The role requires flexibility, strong multitasking skills, and the ability to adapt quickly as priorities shift. This position is fully remote and supports teams nationwide.
Purpose of the Position The Communications Coordinator ensures timely, accurate, and professional delivery of sensitive and high-priority communications. This role brings structure and process to communication workflows while maintaining a strong sense of urgency, flexibility, and attention to detail. In addition, this role supports reporting efforts by gathering data from multiple internal sources and preparing clear, concise analytics summaries to support business decision-making.
Communication Coordination & Project Support
Receive and organize communication requests from across the business
Prioritize multiple requests based on urgency and deadlines
Route materials for appropriate review and approval
Track timelines and ensure on-time delivery
Adjust quickly as new or urgent requests arise
Distribution & Quality Control
Format and distribute internal and client-facing communications
Proofread for clarity, accuracy, and consistency
Conduct quality checks prior to release
Support urgent or time-sensitive messaging initiatives
Process & Organization
Help create and maintain structured communication processes
Keep clear documentation of requests and timelines
Identify simple improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
Pull data from multiple internal resources to compile and organize communication-related metrics
Prepare clear, concise analytics reports and summaries for leadership and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1–2 years of experience in communications, or project coordination
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to manage competing priorities with flexibility and professionalism
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyze and synthesize data into clear, easy-to-understand reports
Tools
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams)
Experience with communication distribution tools (e.g., SlickText or similar) is a plus
