Amazon Web Services is looking for a highly motivated Solutions Architect to accelerate customer adoption. This role works directly with Small and Medium Business customers, collaborating with account teams and guiding customers through strategic, technical solutions across security, compute, storage, networking, serverless, analytics, and AI/ML.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a key member of the Solutions Architecture team to ensure customer success in building applications and services on AWS.
Scope each customer engagement with clear objectives and success criteria.
Own each engagement and ensure timely, successful delivery of value.
Capture and share best‑practice knowledge with the AWS solution architect community.
Understand AWS market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
Utilize Salesforce.com and other internal Amazon systems.
Basic Qualifications
8+ years in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
6+ years of specific technology domain experience (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
6+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Data Science, Public Administration, Finance, Engineering, Human Resources, or a related field.
Experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.

Compensation and Benefits The base salary range for this position varies by location:
USA, CA, San Francisco – $176,600.00 – $239,000.00 annually
USA, CA, Santa Monica – $153,600.00 – $207,800.00 annually
USA, WA, Seattle – $153,600.00 – $207,800.00 annually
Final compensation will also include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and other benefits such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, EAP, mental health support, flexible spending accounts, adoption and surrogacy reimbursement, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
