Director of Information Systems, Educational Technology, and Innovation

Reporting to the RUSD Chief Business Official (CBO), the Director of Information Systems, Educational Technology, and Innovation, is a strategic educational leader dedicated to working collaboratively to design, implement, and support a future‑ready learning environment. This role is built on the principle that technology should be a seamless, invisible catalyst for staff and students, supporting high academic achievement, support, and access. The Director provides the vision and project management necessary to ensure that the District’s technology ecosystem—from the Student Information System (SIS) to networks to classroom instructional tools—is secure, integrated, and optimized for high‑quality communication and student instruction. Education: Bachelor’s or higher degree in an education, business, or technology related field. Experience: Experience in managing teams and implementing educational or technology initiatives; classroom experience and/or school site leadership preferred.
