Personal Income Tax (PIT) Collection Contact Center B Under the general direction of the Director, Personal Income Tax (PIT) Billing, Compliance and Collection Bureau (PBCCB), the incumbent is responsible for the Personal Income Tax (PIT) Collection Contact Center B. The Section operations consist of responsive PIT account resolution to taxpayers who contact the department through either written correspondence, and the administration of the Workforce Management Tool. The incumbent provides additional operational support for other bureau workloads consisting of Live Chat, bilingual contacts, Complex Account Collection Team, and Quality Assurance Team.

The incumbent establishes cooperative working relationships with all levels of staff and gains support of key individuals and teams including the Franchise Tax Board (FTB) Governance, internal and external task forces, departmental workgroups and FTB Action Committees to ensure program accomplishments, and to effectively speak to and resolve emergent issues. The incumbent assesses environmental factors and oversees the program functions to ensure flexible practices and procedures are in place to address and respond to a dynamic environment resulting from legislation, stakeholders, overseers, and enterprise priorities. The incumbent is knowledgeable of the work performed throughout the Accounts Receivable Management (ARM) Division and the FTB. The Assistant Bureau Director also seeks relevant information from colleagues and staff to broaden personal understanding of the stakeholders who impact and are impacted by the department and its programs or policies.

Working Conditions This position is eligible for limited remote working within California based on departmental guidelines and operational need. FTB has a minimum in-office requirement of two days per week for all positions including those that are eligible for telework. This is subject to change.
