The Role:

Drive High-Impact People Strategies for Exceptional Team Experiences

As Director of People Operations, you'll be at the heart of our high-impact work, shaping the employee journey for our 1500+ passionate team members across multiple states including California. You'll lead initiatives that elevate our culture of excellence while ensuring seamless operations in a fast-growing behavioral health organization. Key Responsibilities:

Total Rewards:

Oversee compensation, benefits, and incentive programs designed to attract, retain, and motivate top talent in a competitive industry.

People Tech Stack/HCM/AI:

Manage and optimize our HR systems (e.g., HCM platforms such as ADP, Lattice, UKG, etc) to streamline processes, enhance data-driven decisions, and improve user experiences. Enable all AI tools to improve impact.

Talent Management:

Lead performance management, learning & development, and succession planning to build high-performing teams aligned with our growth goals.

Business Partnership:

Serve as a strategic HR partner to leaders across operations, clinical, and support functions, providing insights on workforce planning, employee relations, and organizational development.

Team Member Experience:

Champion initiatives that drive engagement, impact and well-being—ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to exceptional care for our people and our clients.

Collaborate

cross-functionally to scale People and Culture operations all while innovating in a mission-aligned way.

This role offers high-visibility projects with direct influence and impact on our organization's success, allowing you to see the ripple effects of your work in the lives of our team, clients, and communities.

What We're Looking For

7+ years of progressive HR/People Operations experience, ideally in healthcare, behavioral health, or mission-driven organizations

Expertise in Total Rewards including Compensation and Benefits design, Job Leveling/Architecture, Incentive design and ongoing administration

Tech Savvy including HCM systems (e.g., ADP, UKG, Lattice or similar) and AI enablement skills

Data analytics and insights

Leadership Development including high feedback, player/coach, and competency development

Talent Management design including career mapping and workforce management strategies

Strategic, hands-on Human Resources Business Partnership with proven abilities in coaching, team member relations, and conflict resolution

Proven track record of enhancing employee experiences in dynamic, growth-oriented environments.

Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, empathetic approach—thriving in a culture that values heart, innovation, and partnership.

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred
