Insight Global is hiring: Senior User Experience Designer in Atlanta

Insight Global, Atlanta, GA, United States

We’re looking for a UX Designer to help shape intuitive, efficient internal tools that support the daily work of thousands of people across our organization. This is more than a tactical design role—it’s an opportunity to create experiences that truly empower our teams, simplify complex workflows, and drive meaningful outcomes for the business and the people behind it.

As a senior individual contributor (IC), you’ll be a key player within a dedicated cross-functional team, leading design from discovery through delivery. You’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and fellow designers to uncover opportunities, solve challenging problems, and deliver solutions that reflect both strategic priorities and the day-to-day realities of our users. Your impact will be felt in how others are able to do their best work—faster, smarter, and with more confidence.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead design initiatives across one or two product teams focused on internal tooling—bringing clarity, structure, and elegance to complex problems.
  • Translate ideas, research insights, and system requirements into thoughtful, people-centered design solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with partners in engineering and product to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
  • Balance immediate needs with longer-term vision, supporting phased delivery without sacrificing cohesion or quality.
  • Bring a systems mindset to workflow design, considering not just the interface but the full ecosystem of touchpoints and dependencies.
  • Participate in sprint rituals, roadmap planning, and retrospectives, helping your team stay aligned and user-focused.
  • Use data (qualitative and quantitative) to inform decisions and strengthen the value of your work.
  • Offer guidance to junior designers and elevate team outcomes through thoughtful critique and collaboration.

What You Bring

  • 4–7 years of UX design experience, ideally within complex systems, enterprise software, or internal tools.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates design thinking, problem-solving, and an ability to make the complex feel simple.
  • Confidence working independently through all stages of the product lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and contribute to strategic conversations at the squad level.
  • Fluency in Figma and working with component-based design systems.
  • A natural collaborator with clear, compelling communication skills and a desire to lift up those around you.
  • Curiosity, humility, and a drive to create tools that make people’s work better.

Why This Role Matters

You’ll be designing solutions that support the people who power our business—helping them work more efficiently, more confidently, and with greater satisfaction. This role protects the focus of our teams, accelerates progress, and ensures we stay grounded in thoughtful, people-centered decision-making as we scale.

If you’re someone who cares deeply about impact, clarity, and craft—and you believe great design can make work feel more human—we’d love to meet you.
