
HVAC Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative provides timely support to customers and Belimo sales managers by generating Offers in response to quote requests, technical documentation (as requested) and following up with appropriate communication. The Inside Sales Representative assists in their assigned Region’s sales growth through accurate and timely quotations, supplemented by effective customer (external) and internal communication / follow-up.
What You'll Do
Provide timely Offers (quotes, pricing, anticipated lead time) to customers and Belimo sales managers upon request. Process and register Offers into SAP.
Effective, timely communication with customers and Belimo colleagues. Follow up on Offers to customers as directed by Region, Territory (District), and Key Account Sales Managers.
Gather appropriate details (project name, location, customer contact name) when responding to requests so that the appropriate information can be provided to Belimo Sales Managers for customer follow-up.
Effectively coordinate with and support Inside Sales Representatives assigned to other Regions to ensure that all U.S. customers are responded to in a timely manner, independent of specific quote request backlogs, vacations, etc.
Develop and continually increase technical product and application knowledge to increase effectiveness and throughput of quoting activity. Effectively interpret valve schedules (pdf or Excel) and cross-reference competitor model numbers to select and offer the most appropriate Belimo product. Interface with Belimo Technical Support when questions arise with respect to Belimo product selection.
Interface with Customer Service on lead time and specific order details for customer and internal communication, as necessary.
Provide Technical Documentation to customers upon request.
Who You Are
Associates Degree in a technical discipline or an applicable business program certification or technical program certification.
Two years providing Technical Support by telephone and e-mail in a manufacturing company.
HVAC background considered a plus
Proficient communication and typing skills with high level of accuracy.
High degree of time management and organization required.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and maintain both a proactive and positive attitude. Effective teaming with other Belimo colleagues within the Region, Tech Support, Customer Service, and other functional areas.
Proficient use of personal computer, along with additional software products such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe.
