
Server Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Administrative Assistant and Reception support for our 60+ person Sales and Support Office in Santa Clara, CA. Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.
Provide prompt and professional customer service at reception for Customers, Suppliers, and Employees
Properly integrate visitor badges with Security system
Answer phones, check voicemail, and properly direct calls
Email communications
Provide Administrative support to West Region Sales Manager and other Sales Engineers, Field Applications Engineers, and Marketing employees in the office
Data collection and entry for sales support
Assist with Request for Information and Proposal documents and spreadsheets
Monitor vacation schedules
Other responsibilities as required
Assist team with conference rooms, meeting preparations, and scheduling customer outings
Coordinate Visitor Schedules/Interview Schedules
Manage stockroom, office/conference room supplies, and promotional items (including sample & literature maintenance)
Schedule and track shipments and manage incoming mail
Maintain office equipment and communication boards
Primary contact for Building Maintenance, vendors, suppliers, and Security company
Coordinate travel logistics including negotiating local hotel rates
Maintain office breakroom inventory for snacks, beverage, and supplies
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree with 3+ years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with at least one year of experience in Administrative Assistant/Reception role in an office environment
Proficient Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate level Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables)
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Data entry experience with pricing and sales CRM systems
SKILLS
Ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders
Strong oral and written communications to provide high level of customer service and build relationships
Organizational skills to anticipate, prioritize, and plan to meet team's needs
The base hourly range for this non-exempt position is $25.00-35.00 USD. In determining rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatory factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industry experience, qualifications, skills, and education. It would be rare for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a given role.
